Frequently Asked Questions

We provide access and ownership of visual supports to people all ages and abilities. Our focus is on supporting those who experience breakdowns in communication and challenges in comprehension. Using innovative technology, we enable
access to visual supports, anywhere, anytime.

A breakdown in communication happens when the message someone is trying to convey is not understood correctly by the other person. This can occur due to unclear language, misunderstandings, cultural differences, or differences in information processing. When communication breaks down, it can lead to confusion and in some cases, conflict.

Challenges in comprehension occur when someone has difficulty understanding the way information has been shared. This can be due to complex language, unfamiliar vocabulary, distractions or different preferences in communication styles. Other factors like cultural differences, stress, and trust can also make it hard to fully grasp the meaning of what is being communicated.

Visual supports are tools that use photos, symbols, or text to aid communication and understanding. Visuals in our daily life include to-do lists, menus, Youtube tutorials, calendars and street signs.

Everyone! Visuals are a universal language that hold meaning.
